Healthy Food requirements

Thank you for partnering with us to make sure we provide healthy snack and meal options for your children.


  • Please refer to the Meal_Tip_Sheet.pdf for more information about how you can provide a state approved breakfast and lunch!

    You may bring in a state approved breakfast with your child between 7:00am-8:00am. We clean up breakfast at 8:10am.

    Per state regulations each breakfast must include (must include milk and 2 components):
    • Unflavored Milk (almond/oat milk is acceptable for milk allergies-must have a Doctor's note on file)
    • Meat/Meat alternative
    • Grain/Bread
    • Fruit/Vegetable/100% Juice

    Per state regulation each lunch must include (must have all 4 components):
    • Unflavored Milk (almond/oat milk is acceptable for milk allergies-must have a Doctor's note on file)
    • 1 serving of fruit AND 1 serving of vegetables OR 2 servings of vegetables
    • Grain/Bread
    • Meat/Meat alternative
    • Please include an ice pack to keep the items cool.
    *When packing your child's lunch, please remember certain foods are a choking hazard (ex. grapes, hot dogs, etc.). Please cut these items vertically to help your children. Thank you!*
